Partnering in Plainfield

In 2010, with funds from a Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) grant, Faith, Bricks & Mortar (FBM) acquired nine foreclosed and abandoned properties in Plainfield, New Jersey. In partnership with CAPC each home has been fully resotred. This is one of the largest foreclosure recovery efforts in Plainfield to date.

Since completing construction in Fall 2013, six homes have been purchased by low- and moderate-income families, two homes are occupied as part of a lease to purchase program with Greater Plainfield Habitat for Humanity, and one property is being rented.
